The strength of this pickup combo is pronounced through its clarity, establishing cutthroat personality that resonates at the mid range while the pleasant but present high end perpetuates its lucidity. The only way to improve the power in this combo would be to turn to the NP4A in order to add a little extra hard hitting gusto—which is of course a natural derivative of the thick coil synonymous with the angled pole design. Other than that, the NPJ4SE is pretty much the end of the road in terms of muscular resilience and cooperation between precision and jazz style tone.
